Hi, my name is Seth Donovan, and I’m a 28 year old photojournalist from St. Louis, MO. I started doing this when I was a teenager in high school at Hazelwood West, and I fell in love with it, and continued to do it after I graduated, and had plans to go back to school for it at some point. Some things happened, and I had to take a brief hiatus for, and it wound up lasting five years, which was not my intentions at all. But, that’s the past, and I’m back to finish what I started many years ago. I know it will take awhile to get to the point of being like my idols Carol Guzy or Muhammed Muheisen, but this website is at least a start for me, and it wouldn’t hurt to have another news source in St. Louis while I’m navigating my ways through this insanely competitive industry. I do unfortunately work a day job still while I’m working on this, but my end goal with photojournalism is to be someone that either covers all the big stories in the world like Lynsey Addario or be a part of a newspaper staff in a decent sized city. But, until we get to that point, we’re here!
